The first performance of Philip Ledger’s Requiem (A Thanksgiving for Life) commissioned by Christ Church, Christiana Hundred, Delaware, USA will take place there on 4th November. The first performance in the UK will be conducted by Philip Ledger with the King’s College Choir in the Chapel of King’s College, Cambridge on Remembrance Sunday (11th November).

Philip Ledger has also written a new set of Advent Responsories which will be performed by the King’s College Choir at the Advent Carol Service on 25th November and a setting of In the bleak mid-winter for the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge.

He has recently been the Clinician for the Boys Choirs of Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore, USA for whom he has written a set of Evening Canticles and an arrangement of the Spiritual, This train is bound for glory.
